Summary: The Courtyard was the place where the Israelites entered in with their animal sacrifices. It was the only place in the Tabernacle complex they could set foot in. But it was also a place where they longed to be, because it was here that their sins would be atoned for and their relationship with God restored, enabling them to worship and serve Him.
